Does the Ship Have to Sink Before Media Accepts Its Responsibility?

Don't miss "Don't Look Now," James Taranto's opening item in yesterday's Best of the Web feature over at WSJ Online. It is an alarming piece about just how irresponsible (even irrational) the MSM's commitment to political-correctness can get.

In this case, it involves the Seattle Post-Intelligencer refusing to publish photos the FBI had released of two men involved in very suspicious behavior on the Washington State ferries. The paper's concern? Not wanting to offend Arab-Americans by seeming to "profile" them. Good grief! Check it out here.
