The Associated Press has uncovered John Kerry's answers to a 1972 questionaire that reveal last week's joke suggesting that the American military was filled with losers belies an attitude Kerry has held for decades.Indeed, those 1972 answers (given to garner support from a Massachusetts peace organization) show that Kerry opposed a volunteer Army because it would be dominated by the underprivileged, be less accountable and be more prone to "the perpetuation of war crimes."
