The liberal pack is in full howl over the populist revolt to ObamaCare. And their devotion to stamping out protest -- even polite inquiry -- knows no bounds of honesty or decency.To the liberal, "the people" is that compliant crowd who pays the bills for the oligarchy's overhaul of society. They are to be praised to the skies...but only in the abstract. In real life, they are to be hoodwinked, manipulated, and exploited.
They must never dare to speak up for themselves; Democrat politicians, special interest groups and the media have usurped that privilege. "We are your benevolent masters," they tell the hordes of the great unwashed. "We will look out for you, take care of you, entertain you. All you have to do in return is to give up your liberty, your money and any of those ideals that might interfere with our complete control of you. And, one more thing...you gotta' shut up and take it."
Thus the fight against alternative media. Thus the demonization of Rush Limbaugh. Thus the constant stream of ridicule, distortion and outright lies against conservative causes in the newspapers, TV talk shows and even TV comedy shows.
And thus this latest campaign to malign, discredit and ultimately silence altogether "the people's" vocal opposition to Barack and the Dems' health care fiasco.
The first tactic used in this campaign was to argue that the protests were engendered by insurance companies and the G.O.P. That was ludicrous on its face and didn't last long.
So it was time to get real ugly.
* Nancy Pelosi calls protestors "un-American" and says the protestors are carrying swastikas.
* ABC News ties them to race-baiting hate groups who endanger the President's life.
* Liberal shoutmeister Ed Schultz joins in and claims that conservatives want to see the President "get shot."
The list goes on as the liberals get more desperate to shut us up.
It is, of course, a key part of the socialist agenda. Before the omelet can be made, a few eggs have to be broken.
So use ridicule to shut them up. Use media monopoly to shut them out.
Use vote fraud to disenfranchise the stubborn individualists. Use union regulations to disallow the secret ballot. Use bubble zones and FACE prosecutions to keep the pro-life activists silent. Use hate crime legislation and threats of denying tax exemption to keep the preachers quiet about sexual aberrations.
And use the full power of the press and government to bring the enlightened, progressive oligarchy to full (and undisputed) power.
After all, it's for..."the people."
