Langevin Invites Michael J. Fox to State of the Union

In a move clearly caculated to upstage President Bush at the State of the Union message next week, Democrat Congressman from Rhode Island, Jim Langevin, an aggressive proponent of embryonic stem cell research, will have as his personal guest, actor Michael J. Fox, whose advocacy ads for ESCR created such an emotional stir in last fall's elections. Langevin, who has generally voted against abortion just can't see the inconsistency of his philosophy nor has he faced the scientific evidence that reveals over and over again that ESCR (no matter what its hype) is a "dead end."
