Despite the charges of many Bush supporters that veterans of the conservative movement have hurt the President by their opposition to the Miers nomination, the fact is that the President hurt himself by this selection. And the last few days have demonstrated that there's "plenty more hurt" to this nomination that has come via Miers herself and a few of her well meaning but unwise friends.
