We were pleased to hear from Katie Walker of the American Life League that Vital Signs Blog is one of 26 in the running for the 2010 Pro-Life Blog Awards. We're not sure how we were selected -- maybe it's got something to do with our being longstanding friends of ALL :) -- but we are sincerely honored and grateful.The specific award categories are Best News and Reporting, Pro-Life Unity Award, Pro-Life Whistleblower Award, Best Pro-Life Apologetics, and Pro-Life Instigator Award for Activism. I think we like that last category most of all because it not only seems to fit our purposes for the blog but for all of Vital Signs Ministries as well.
From Dec. 15-20 a popular vote will be held to select the winner in each of these categories. Plus, all nominees are also automatically eligible for Best Overall Pro-Life Blog.
We'll let you know when and where you can get in on the voting. But again, we were delighted to even have been nominated.
