And these were all before finally receiving a medical deferment at age 25 for the asthma Biden had as a teenager -- a condition, by the way, that he never even mentions in his autobiography.
Indeed, his memoirs reflect a very healthy kid whose teenage years included being a standout football player and lifeguard.
